About LIFER
Why LIFER exists
Cartridge razors are a subscription dressed up as a shave. Five blades stacked on top of each other, sold in packs of four for the price of a decent meal, engineered to dull just fast enough that you buy more.
A double-edge safety razor is the opposite of that. One blade. Replaceable for pennies. A metal body that doesn't wear out, doesn't clog, and doesn't need a subscription to keep working.
Men shaved this way for most of the twentieth century, until the industry figured out there was more money in selling you plastic every six weeks. LIFER goes back to the version that was actually built to last — because the blade costs a dime, the handle outlives you, and one edge does what five plastic ones only pretend to.
It's not for everyone. There's a real learning curve: your first few shaves will be slower, and you'll probably nick yourself once while you find the angle. That's normal — it happens to everyone who switches. Give it two weeks and you'll wonder why you ever paid for cartridges.
Buy it once. Shave with it forever.
